Almost 200 partners and customers attended the celumdays 2008 in Vienna in order to improve their Digital Asset Management knowledge with celum IMAGINE. Participants gained insights into the future trends of one of the fastest growing segments in IT industry - the management and usage control of rich media content. International experts including Chris Matthews (Specialized Bicycle Components), Pierre Saint Michel (Avista Systems), Christopher David James Butterfield (HOCHTIEF AG) or Bruno Britt (Sika Schweiz AG) presented their experiences with celum Media Asset Management-Solutions.

The Target of the Digital Asset Management-Software-Implementierung was to connect employess in a better and more efficent way, reduce the costs and avoid problems by using unlicensed media files. 

Program
IMAGINE IV impresses with it’s entirely revised, browser-based user-interface „goldfish“, especially with it’s „smart“ menus. Nonetheless „barracuda“ can be easily integrated into Adobe CS3- and MS Office-Applications. The scope of media management was enriched by the management of text objects, for future re-use, concepts both creatives
and marketing people know as snippets. Now all users can re-use
these snippets in their documents, no matter if they need the text
objects for DTP-documents or Powerpoint-presentations. Furthermore, celum IMAGINE IV enables the close collaboration among users. User can examine assets, add comments and vote on them, prior to activating the
assets within the system.
During the celumsummit future users were not only presented the latest features but could test the new system in “Hands on”- workshops.
